The Damaris Project

Who Are We?

The Damaris Project, based in Dallas, Texas, was founded in 1997 to provide women with resources for starting conversations in their personal circles and communities about women’s lives, culture, and the teachings of Jesus. We explore how spirituality informs our lives and work.

Since its inception, the Damaris Project has helped thousands to engage in exciting conversations in bookstores, coffee houses, homes and on college campuses through a variety of programs, including Damaris Salon(SM).

As an independent nonprofit organization, the Damaris Project is administered entirely by volunteers and supported through the generosity of people who have captured our vision. Our board of directors and community level volunteers make the Damaris Project possible.
